To help Gore's Associates share their company's rich heritage with partners, customers, and visitors, Bluecadet designed a comprehensive new spatial and interpretative experience at the company's Newark, Delaware Capabilities Center.

With motion-triggered lighting elements, the Immersive Corridor leads into the large central exhibition space of Gore and subtly introduces themes, materials, and visual effects that recur throughout the Capabilities Center.

The Product Wall activates dynamic light trails to highlight products in a variety of industries as a powerful visualization of the scale and scope of Gore's work.

We used TouchDesigner to generate the dynamic lighting patterns which are then mapped into LED control signals using ELM. Based on 3D modeling data of the Capabilities Center, we precisely matched the patterns to the spatial design. We used LiDAR sensors to detect motion in the Immersive Corridor, and used capacitive sensing on the text labels of the Product Wall to activate the light trails. We integrated the generative system with Capabilities Center's show control, so that Gore staff can change light colors or set the LEDs into a special "party mode" according to event needs with a button press.
